For students who are not ready to commit to the full program or for those who simply wish to augment their skills in a select area, MSSE also offers individual course enrollment through UC Berkeley’s University Extension. The MSSE courses are available to all students outside of UC Berkeley and to UC Berkeley students who are enrolled part-time or on leave.
Students who decide to later apply to become a MSSE degree candidate and are accepted into the program may use successfully completed course credits towards the degree requirement.
